McKinsey River Capital Management Active Core Infrastructure
An Active Ownership Approach to Core Infrastructure
A longer-hold strategy with a focus on downside protection and applying MRC’s active ownership playbook to core infrastructure companies.
A longer-hold ownership strategy for core infrastructure businesses.
With a primary focus on Europe and North America, MRC Active Core Infrastructure invests in companies that provide essential services to society and offer strong downside protection through regulation, long-term contracts, stable cash-yield generation, inflation protection, low volatility, and the pursuit of sustainable value-creation opportunities.
Our strategy involves a longer-hold horizon, focusing our active ownership approach on core infrastructure companies at the lower end of the risk spectrum.
The strategy is led by Alex Greenbaum, Partner & Head of MRC Active Core Infrastructure in New York. The Partner group overseeing the strategy also includes Fabian Gröne, based in Munich, and Kunal Koya, based in London.
